Aušra has been with Rosemont Partners since 6 months after it’s creation making her the 2nd longest serving employee! She has seen the growth and changes and in many ways epitomizes the evolution of the business in her own personal development and life journey in Dubai !

Aušra was recently promoted from our Operations and Compliance Manager to our Head of Compliance as a result of her outstanding quality of work, experience, attention to detail and values that she brings to our team.

With the UAE benchmarking its compliance regulations against international standards, Aušra’s main duties and responsibilities are to maintain our already in existence quality of compliance procedures, as well as overseeing each of our existing and newly onboarded clients to ensure absolute compliance with the UAEs rules and regulations.

Owing to the fact that she has worked and studied, in 5 different countries so far, works with clients from different backgrounds, Aušra possesses a great intercultural competence and a unique view of how international businesses function with a personal touch. She holds a BA and LLM degree in Criminal Law at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) from her home country Lithuania, and LLM in Comparative Constitutional Law from Central European University (CEU) in Hungary.

Aušra’s professional journey has started in the Indirect Tax Compliance team of one of the Big 4 Audit firms in Budapest, Hungary, followed by roles in legal and corporate administration, operations and compliance in Cyprus and the UAE.

Aušra is a member of International Compliance Association (ICA) since August 2018, holding ICA International certifications in GRC and AML. 

Fluent in Lithuanian, English, Russian and, as her mother-in-law says; “good Serbian” 😛 . 

A Fun fact is that during Aušra’s studies she had to complete practice work in an actual prison, so nothing can scare her! Her professional aim is to grow further in the compliance field, while outside of work Aušra is always up for a sport or a dance challenge! She spends a lot of time with her family, loves running and long hikes, hoping to teach her kids to stay open-minded, curious and see them becoming fun people to be around. After putting the kids to bed in the evening, Aušra indulges in a binge-watching session of a thrilling crime series.
