Ministry of Investment (MISA) Licensing

Formerly SAGIA, the Ministry of Investment license is mandatory requirement for all foreign owned companies registering in Saudi Arabia. In order to obtain a license, the foreign company must provide their trade license/certificate of registration, Memorandum/Articles of Association, Power of Attorney and previous years audited financials. Each of these documents must be attested up to the KSA embassy in the country of origin before they will be accepted in KSA.

The timeline for the MISA license issuance is 5-10 working days, upon arrival of the parent company documents in Saudi Arabia. Rosemont Partners can handle all aspects of MISA licensing process without the client needing to travel to KSA.

Commercial Registration (CR) Issuance

The Ministry of Commerce (MoC) are the registrar of companies in Saudi Arabia. Upon issuance of the MISA license, companies must register the company with the MoC by signing their new company Memorandum & Articles of Association in front of the KSA notary.

The timeline for the CR issuance is 5-10 working days following the issuance of the MISA license. Rosemont Partners can sign in front of the KSA notary on behalf of the client (if appointed to do so by the Power of Attorney).
