Rosemont Partners Culture
Work culture—and the culture of a company and its team—is the primary ingredient for any business to succeed (or fail) if it is not recognised and practiced every single day.
Rosemont Partners’ success to date is a result of our team culture. Every year, we come together, typically on the same day as our Christmas Party, for what we call “Culture Day.” This off-site event is a day for us to reflect on the year, evaluate our core values—starting with how we interact with one another, our clients, and our business vendors—and consider where we have come from and where we ultimately want to go.
A snapshot of this interactive, all-inclusive day includes breaking into teams, pairing the longest-serving team members with the most recent joiners, and engaging in team-building exercises and quizzes. These quizzes can range from questions about the latest Netflix series to fun facts about someone’s home country—like Lithuania! This mix of activities makes the day both fun and engaging.
Here are just some of the important characteristics of a good work culture that we have identified and agreed on as a team:
- Accountability
- “Leadership without a title”
- Diversity and inclusion
- Work-life balance
- Focus on wellbeing
- Values
Away Days
Something we’ve done for years now is our “Away Days” concept, which remains a highlight. It sets us apart and reinforces our unique identity. Culture Day is our premier “Away Day” of the year.
How does it work? Two team members come together before the last Friday of every month to identify a cool and trendy café suitable for a team of 15+ to work from. This is a space where we can meet clients, collaborate on new projects, and connect as a team. At the end of the day, we head off to wind down for the weekend together with some activities like bowling, go-karting, pottery, and many more.
At Rosemont, we proudly celebrate our team members’ personal and professional achievements. Their successes never go unnoticed. And, of course, our ever-popular “Away Days” continue to set us apart, making us feel unique and different from most.
Remember, culture is not only important—it’s vital. It’s essential for a team and a business to have a clear culture and to continually evaluate it, looking for small wins wherever possible
